A Sweet Simple Life

I came across A Sweet Simple Life the other day and instantly fell in love with Heather and her lovely photos of delicious food. She is not trained and makes some amazing stuff on her blog, from pastries, to appetizers to amazing entrees and awesome snacks.

Pretty no? Everything looks so delicious and happy and I can’t wait to try to make some of these wonderful dishes. Here is a snippet of Heather’s about me page so you can get a feel for what inspired her to start this sweet little blog. “Food is an incredible thing. It energizes us, satisfies us, and brings us together. When I was growing up, my dad insisted that everyone drop what they were doing and gather around the dinner table every night. (I didn’t even try a TV dinner until a low point in college.) Those evenings are some of my fondest memories and I got a front row seat to the role food plays in our lives.”

It’s so true- Family and friends and food go together so well. It’s the best way to enjoy any of the year. Cooking, drinking having your friends telling jokes over a good meal, your family sharing memories of the 1st time they tried a certain food, or a kitchen disaster. I am always the one who can’t wait to have a massive family get together during Thanksgiving with like 12 turkeys and 19 pies. Seriously, I dream of this stuff.

Anyway haha- Here are some of my favorite posts and stuff I can’t wait to try to them!!

As you can see everything looks amazing so be sure to visit Heather over at A Sweet Simple Life and tell her you love her blog and all of her delicious looking food!

Be sure to share below what your favorite dish is!

Enjoy!
