Etsy Love: Eco Shag

I love finding cute stuff on Etsy- but there’s a lot of stuff to dig through, so when I actually do come across something special-I always MUST share. So say hello to Eco Shag and prepare to fall in love!

EcoShag was born from a nostalgic place. Memories of my sister and I sitting in our bedroom, making scarf necklaces on our beautifully outdated, 1970’s, burnt orange shag carpet. She was 7 years my senior, knee deep in all that was rad, and I worshiped the ground she walked on. She truly was that awesome.

In essence, her spirit for creativity is what inspired me, and her passing is what propelled me to start what I now fondly call, EcoShag.

What I found even more beautiful was the reason she created this lovely business- Being inspired by what sounds like an amazing sister is definitely a great one. Her work is truly beautiful, the patterns, the way things lay, the way she captures them in photos- I want every single one- And can we talk about how gorgeous she is? She makes for quite the model! (Yes that’s her in the photos!) She’s a stunner!
