Streets and Stripes
Sometimes I’ll follow a blogger on Twitter and mentally note to check out their blog later. Sometimes months past before I see them on my feed and remember that I forgot about my mental note. Sigh.
Anyway. I came across the Streets and Stripes blog again and decided it was time! I love this little blog! The photos are great (duh, Chaucee is a photographer! She does weddings too!) and she captures her everyday adventures, projects and life so beautifully. Here’s a little about her, “Hi, my name is Chaucee. I’m a recent college grad who takes a lot of pictures. Streets and Stripes came along in 2008 and hasn’t left since. This is a life + style blog, but mostly, it’s a chronology of life as I know it. I love exploring cities and I write about the places I find, the people I meet, and a dash of personal style.”
She does a lovely job of featuring other local artist, people and cool local spots. I loved scrolling through to see if anyone I knew was featured- It’s also interesting to see the places others have been that you yourself may have frequented. The different perspectives and positioning of photographs make familiar locations look like foreign worlds.
Well I know you’re dying to see some of my favorite shots, so scroll on down to take a look at them!
Love the shot from the pastry shop in NYC, I totally fell in love with Elini’s when I first visited The Chelsea Market in NYC. All of the photos have a dream-like quality to them that I adore so much! Such a lovely job! So now that you can’t wait to stalk this blog and subscribe and digitally visit Philly, it’s stylish peoples and lovely shops, come visit the Streets and Stripes blog and tell the amazing Chaucee that you love her, she’s awesome and obviously send her a high five.
